Forming Your Faith as a Catholic

God created man to share in his divinity and so he made him in his image.  For his glory, we are made to be holy and called to be saints; and for our sake, he offered up his Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, that we may not perish in death that is sin but have life in Christ that is eternal.  We are made for God and to live in sanctity with Christ who is the source of all good, all joy, and all triumphs in our lives.  However, sin entered the world when man freely rejected God's gift of divinity.  And it is freely that we choose to live our lives in sin with self or in sanctity with Christ.  As part of God’s plan for the salvation of man, Our Lord created his Church:  to call all men to Christ through the Holy Spirit, to unite us in communion with him, and to teach us the Faith.  God's one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church is the Mystical Body of Christ and we as baptized Catholics are members of Christ's Body.  The Lord, Our God, has given us all the power in heaven and on earth to grow in faith and be saved for him through the death and resurrection of Our Savior, Jesus Christ.  Our faith is what allows us to live the Christian life and receive with efficacy God's graces.  Growing in faith is a daily necessity like breathing and eating, and every Catholic is the steward of his faith and that of the Church.  Our parish is committed to helping you grow in your faith and looks forward to your participation in growing our faith formation programs - for yourself, your children, and your family.
