This is a general election year. People have the right and the duty to know the
positions of candidates. In this article we limit ourselves to the positions of
Kamala Harris regarding abortion and LGBT ideology. (In another article we
state the positions of Donald Trump regarding the same issues.) Let us recall
that the Catholic Church teaches that the most important issue is the
protection of human life, especially that of the most innocent and defenseless
among us.
The Church, like Jesus, does not condemn men and women who somehow
have fallen into the grave sin of abortion. But, also like Jesus, She urgently and
lovingly calls them to true repentance and healing.
We don’t tell anybody for whom to vote or for what party to vote. Every Catholic
will have to decide so at the time of voting, but always in the light of Church
teaching, which we have presented in another article. Let us recall that the
protection of innocent and defenseless human life seriously obliges in
conscience not only Catholics but all persons of good will.
The following are the positions of Kamala Harris regarding abortion and LGBT:
◼ She supports abortion without any restrictions till birth and paid by our tax
dollars. She promises that, if elected president, she will sign a federal law
that legalizes abortion on the demand for the whole country, superseding all
pro-life state laws. Presently close to half of the states have pro-life laws.
◼ She voted against pro-life bills that would have required urgent medical care
for babies who survive botch abortions, thus letting them die. This is
infanticide.
◼ He supports and in turn receives the support of U.S. abortion monster
Planned Parenthood (PP). She was the first candidate to perform a campaign
event at a PP abortion center in Minnesota. She was accompanied by her
vice-president pick Tim Walz, equally pro-abortion in the extreme. Walz was
the governor of this state. PP receives yearly close to $700 million from our
tax dollars. Needless to say, Harris is in favor of funding PP.
◼ When she was the California AG, she went after pro-life hero David
Daleiden. Mr. Daleiden exposed, by mean of undercover videos, the PP
scandalous traffic with parts of babies aborted at its centers. Harris did not
prosecute PP, given that the pro-abortion giant supports her.
◼ It is worth noting that PP targets U.S. minorities. It has 80% of its abortion
centers in minority neighborhoods. It is not surprising that black women
abort 30% of all yearly U.S. abortions, despite the fact that AfricanAmericans constitute only 13% of the entire U.S. population. Hispanic women abort 25% of all yearly U.S. abortions, despite the fact that Latinos
constitute only 17% of the entire U.S. population. Margaret Sanger, PP
foundress, was a racist and an anti-immigrant ideologue.
◼ Harris, like President Biden, is also in favor of expanding access to abortion
worldwide, especially in poor countries. If elected president, she will fund,
with our tax dollars, pro-abortion organizations like International Planned
Parenthood Federation (IPPF) and the United Nations.
◼ Harris is also in favor of the full LGBT agenda. She favors so-called “gender
transitions” (so-called “sex changes”) even on minors. These horrible
procedures include the provision of dangerous drugs for life, double
extraction of breasts in the case of teen girls (mastectomies) and castration
in the case of teen boys.
